Our Story!

Dana and I met at what use to be Idewild Country Club Pool in July 2003, I was 21 and he was 27. At first I didn't really pay him much attention but he came along with my BF's Brother and a few of his friends I knew. I had always heard of my friends brother talk about Dana but I never met him in person. So I went over to talk to them and we all had fun playing around in the pool the rest of the day.  As I was about to leave they invited me to come out with them that evening to a place called "Boppers Bar and Boogie". Funny because it's kind of a place where older people go, but I didn't have anything better going on so I agreed to go.  That night we all danced and were having fun. Dana kept trying to buy me drinks all night but I was their DD so I kept turning him down...LOL So we sat and talked for hours that night and I drove them home. The next day I invited him to come to a friends cookout with me so I could get to know him better and from then on he had my heart.

About a year and half later on December 31, 2004 New Year's Eve we went to dinner at Outback with my parents and afterwards we headed back to his house (ours now) to figure out what to do for the remainder of the evening.  Little did I know Dana already had it planned out and knew what was going to happen. Shortly before midnight Dana and I were in the Den and out of nowhere in the middle of the Den just me and him he gets down on one knee and professes his love for me and ask me to marry him. ;) Totally caught me off guard but of course I said YES!!!
9 months later on September 18, 2005 I walk down the isle (well side walk, we were married outside) to meet the man of my dreams. It was a magical day I will never forget. The next day we were off to the BEAUTIFUL Island of Honolulu Hawaii for our Honeymoon.
Today, January 25, 2012 we have been married 6 years and have a handsome son named Kage Dakoda Bowen, a 6 year old Chihuahua named Noah (AKA Munchie) and expecting our second child August 2012.
